Snow fell steadily throughout the day Monday, and by Tuesday morning resorts were reporting accumulations of 6 to 13 inches of new snow. Snow remains in the forecast throughout the week and cold air from the North mixes with Pacific moisture over the Sierra.
Conditions in Lake Tahoe couldn’t be better with resort base depths currently measuring up to 9 feet. Recently, the region was ranked the number one destination booked on Orbitz.com for travel this winter.
