STORY
SUMMARY:
RENO, Nev. (July 16, 2007) —Each July, the month-long
Artown festival amplifies Reno’s vibrant arts and culture
scene with hundreds of performing and visual arts events. Just
one of the Artown events this year was Ice Hot Cars where spectators
could find the “world’s hairiest limo” among
the featured art on wheels. More than 40 hot rods, street rods,
custom cars, art cars, and lowriders with air brush art filled
the National Automobile Museum’s parking lot in downtown
Reno.
At
the festival’s midpoint, there is still plenty of music,
dance, theater, opera, children’s workshops, movies in
the park, cowboy poetry, historical walks, visual arts and more
to enjoy. Log on to visitrenotahoe.com
or renoisartown.com
