SUMMARY: (NORTH LAKE TAHOE, California/Nevada) – Things
are cooking up in North Lake Tahoe with the 23rd Annual Lake Tahoe Autumn
Food and Wine Festival offering a sumptuous lineup of culinary events
September 5-7 at the Village at Northstar.

COPY: It’s an edible extravaganza at the 23rd Annual
Lake Tahoe Autumn Food and Wine Festival, scheduled for September 5
through September 7 in the great outdoors at the new Village at Northstar.
Headlining
the event is Stephanie Izard, recent winner of Bravo TV’s Top
Chef, who will showcase her award-winning skills in her first West Coast
cooking demonstration. Returning festival favorites include Chef Lars
Kronmark of the Culinary Institute of America presenting a lively outdoor
grilling demonstration, along with a special four-course luncheon prepared
by Chef Joseph Keller of Yountville’s Bouchon and Bistro Zinc
Restaurant in Las Vegas. The Blazing Pans Mountain Chef Cook-Off pits
reigning champion Chef Jacques Cornelis of the Resort at Squaw Creek
against Mike Trombetta a personal chef, formerly with Tahoe City’s
Christy Hill.
Additional
featured events include the Gourmet Marketplace and Vendor Fair, Grand
Tasting Competition, an international wine and cheese pairing seminar
and a hands-on sushi rolling and sake pairing class. Kids and families
can also get creative with a free hands-on pizza class and flowerpot
painting workshop.
