BROADCAST VIDEO FOOTAGE AVAILABLE - Preview and download broadcast quality MPEG 2 b-roll footage (AVAILABLE AFTER 3pm, PST on February 5).

STORY SUMMARY: February 5, 2008 - January 2008 will go down as one of the snowiest months in Lake Tahoe history, and that, followed by a huge storm over the first weekend of February, sets up superb conditions at North Lake Tahoe resorts for the weeks ahead.

FOOTAGE DESCRIPTION: Footage includes shots of skiers and snowboarders taken at Mt. Rose and Diamond Peak, scenic shots of Lake Tahoe as well as sound bites (see below) shot Monday and Tuesday, February 4-5, 2008.

SUGGESTED COPY: Powder is king in North Lake Tahoe, where a record-breaking January left more than 17 feet of new snow to the delight of skiers, snowboarders and outdoor winter enthusiasts. And it just keeps on coming with four-plus feet of powder blanketing the region in the first few days of February.

Today, Lake Tahoe awoke to sunshine and blue skies – the perfect backdrop to the snowy Sierra Nevada peaks. Whether skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing or snowmobiling, the conditions are the best resorts have seen all season and just in time for the President’s Day holiday.
