NORTH LAKE TAHOE RESORTS

STORY SUMMARY: March 18, 2008 – New snow has freshened things up at North Lake Tahoe ski resorts, and Easter events abound on and off the slopes this coming weekend.

SUGGESTED COPY: With a record snowpack and over a foot of new snow this past weekend, Easter Weekend is a sure bet for fun in North Lake Tahoe. Visitors can get into the spirit with a variety of egg hunts and fun events held on and off the slopes around the region.

Tahoe City’s free annual Easter Egg Hunt takes place lakeside at Commons Beach at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 22. In Incline Village, the Egg Hunt starts at 11:15 a.m. Saturday at Incline Beach. The Village at Squaw Valley pulls out all the stops with a free 1,000-egg Easter Egg Hunt Sunday, March 23. Those that are lucky enough to find the Golden Egg win a Children’s Season Pass to Squaw Valley USA. Look for the Easter Bunny between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. in the Village. The Easter Bunny will also make an appearance Sunday at the Village at Northstar. And, for a real challenge, guests can participate in a free, raw egg toss at 3:30 p.m. with prizes awarded to the winners.
